The Best Photo Editor for Android/iOS!

I love taking pictures. But shooting is just one side of the story:
then it’s time for post processing. When it comes to fully fledged cameras, Adobe
Lightroom is typically the way to go for me, but when I shoot with my phone, I want to
immediately edit and share them, without going through the hustle of transferring them back
and forth to my PC. So I need a mobile editor that gives me speed
and ease of use on the go, while still offering a wide gamma of tools. Snapseed is that editor for me. Snapseed is a free app owned by Google that
has everything I could want to edit on a smartphone. It offers primary and secondary corrections,
customizable presets, and advanced tools like the healing brush. It’s designed in a really clever way to feel
natural to use on a mobile device, with a clean UI and controls via gestures. It’s fast, beautiful, and the results are
simply excellent. You have no idea of how much you can really
pull out from a picture until you give it a go with Snapseed. Of course, shooting mainly JPEGs you don’t
want to go over the top to avoid crazy looking results, but you can also edit RAW files if
your smartphone supports them. As of today, Snapseed offers 10 different
menus for specific adjustments, including adding text, and using presets for various
really cool effects, like HDR or Lens Blur. If I don’t need anything fancy, my personal
workflow usually consists of quick primary adjustments in the Tune Image menu, a bit
of sharpening when needed, sometimes a bit of vignette, and the Grainy Film effect as
a final touch. If I had to make a wishlist for future features,
I’d really love to see curves and a hue and saturation selector, but I understand that
those are not easy features to implement in a mobile editor. Finally, to wrap this video up, here are some
images shot on my Note 4 and then edited just using Snapseed. Enjoy!
