Shoot Like a Pro – Food Photography and Product Photography Course Using Off Camera Flash


Hello. Welcome to the course. My name’s Tracey Ayre and I’m going to teach you about using an off camera flash and setting up your own home budget studio. I have a photographer and I’m a published photographer. I’m also a qualified teacher although I don’t teach anymore. I will be able to use those skills to help guide you step by step through the process of using the off camera flash and setting up your home budget studio. Once you get to grips with using the off camera flash you will be able to use it in lots of different areas of your photography. I’m going to be demonstrating how to use it in food photography and in product photography. But you can also use it in portrait photography and you can use it in say weddings. While you might want to say light up the background or light up an umbrella or you might want to set off a smoke bomb and light up the smoke you can be really creative. using off camera flash and it will benefit you as a photographer and it will help to really complement your images and you probably won’t turn back once you start using the off camera flash so the demonstrations I’m going to be doing is I’m going to be showing you how to of light up beer I’m gonna show you how to light up jelly. I’m going to show you how to do sexy chocolate photography using dark food photography. I’m going to show you how to do splash food photography. I’m going to show you how to use the props and how to style your food. If you are doing food photography I’m going to show you how to use lighting equipment budget lighting equipment like light cubes for example. And I’m going to show you how to style your food. So you’re going to learn a lot. through the demonstrations I’m going to be doing so by the end of the session. You should be skilled and competent using the off camera flash. You should be able to set up your own home studio on a budget and you should be probably a bit more creative with your photography at the end of it by using the off camera flash. What’s good about it is you don’t need a wide open window to always have ambient light shining in with the off camera flash you can make it look natural your food or your products still looks still looks natural. It looks like it’s just natural light and I’m going to show you how to do that so let’s get started on the course.
