Why all slomo ? I mean that makes even my handheld stuff look smooth .. You made me set the playback speed at 2x haha

  2. dazzypops February 13, 2019 at 9:36 pm

More importantly, have you got the skinny on when Up 2 is due out? Or is it under NDA?

  3. François Rousseau February 13, 2019 at 9:58 pm

Thanks for the information, still skeptical with the output though. Great video man!

  4. Colton Campbell February 13, 2019 at 10:21 pm

$250, they shouldn't be using 3d printed joints. I got my Kylin-m gimbal for $200 on Kickstarter last summer and while it isn't the best gimbal in the world, for nearly the same price I would go with the real gimbal over this.

However I do like the natural feel of the magnetic gimbal thing, somewhere between a glidecam and a gimbal. Nice video as always!

  5. ArtHaven February 13, 2019 at 10:23 pm

    Neat!

  6. Kapeel Dev February 13, 2019 at 10:27 pm

    Amazin video as always!

  8. Giorgio Ntanas February 13, 2019 at 11:02 pm

    So, its a glorified steadicam

  9. Bob Coco February 13, 2019 at 11:40 pm

I'll magnetely stabilize my wallet, to make sure it gets + stable….

Well that makes no sense, but I had no comment idea so leave me here

Lets add more magnets, we don't care about memory cards 🙂

  12. Nick Conroy // Music February 14, 2019 at 12:59 am

What are thoughts on having high powered magnets close to electronics like your camera? That scares me a bit.

  13. Chris W February 14, 2019 at 1:20 am

    Not good for my pacemaker

  14. Slip Och February 14, 2019 at 2:00 am

Can you run it upside down for footpath shots?

  15. WSWEss February 14, 2019 at 2:34 am

why slowmotion always in this reviews? i want to see the actual stabilization in real time

  16. Andrew Yeh February 14, 2019 at 2:52 am

Dear Gene, thanks for being on YouTube. Your humorous personality, sincerity and style is very admirable.

  17. Tabletop Theater February 14, 2019 at 3:45 am

I hope the magnet doesn't wipe your SD cards…

  18. Steve Solem February 14, 2019 at 3:57 am

Fantastic video as always PJ! I appreciate all the hard work you put into these!! Thank you!

  19. Ray B February 14, 2019 at 4:22 am

i knew you needed something to keep you level headed with all your fame.

  20. Aperture February 14, 2019 at 4:46 am

Large magnets might do some potential damage to cameras or memory cards. We'll have to see if this magnet have an negative effect.

  21. prettycoolPJ February 14, 2019 at 5:15 am

Hmmm. Cool, but not as stable as the Ronin S. Nothing warp stabilization can't fix…

  22. jeffmurnahan February 14, 2019 at 5:53 am

Combine this tech with motorized gimbals

  23. Christian Cueto February 14, 2019 at 6:00 am

Instead of switching out magnets, maybe just a simple screw that when you tighten or loosen it it adjusts the magnets distance from the other components, therefore adjusting the sensitivity.

  24. Rayniel Joshua February 14, 2019 at 7:07 am

Can i have some unused camera? Im desperate haha

  25. PrimeInChina February 14, 2019 at 7:41 am

Doesn't look very stable. Seems to offer the same weird side to side swaying issue that regular glide cams have. Gimbals offer a more precise stabilization than this thing does.

  26. People Power Farm Agriculture February 14, 2019 at 8:02 am

    thank you. Great Show

  27. Jun Kent Chua February 14, 2019 at 9:16 am

    EOS RP Pleeeease!! ??

  31. Peter Perämäki February 14, 2019 at 10:46 am

It looks a little big for traveling. How can you do low angle shots with this?

  32. 彰CC February 14, 2019 at 11:26 am

Holy Crap!! I'm the 3000th to hit like button :O

  33. To Ni February 14, 2019 at 1:34 pm

I'd rather gain skills as I can than rely on gears all the time. Great episode hot potato ?

  34. To Ni February 14, 2019 at 1:35 pm

    I love the doggos ??

  35. To Ni February 14, 2019 at 1:38 pm

Personally the gimbal you featured here can definitely work for me. Hobbyist here ? love that you used the canon m50.

  36. Flubberkoekje February 14, 2019 at 3:06 pm

Lol I got an ad for this exact product. Seems cool.

  37. knuddelig February 14, 2019 at 3:20 pm

For the same money I can get a motorized gimbal on AliExpress ??‍♂️

  38. BMill Production February 14, 2019 at 3:50 pm

Man love this vid. I rock the Crane, and would love a more light weight version of a gimbal, Hiking for my vlogs, shit gets heavy! haha

  39. Infinity Studios February 14, 2019 at 4:30 pm

A very interesting design. I would be interested to see what they could do with electromagnet and sensor on the mounting plate. Maybe they could have an auto-balancing system for heavier cameras. Just have to wait for later versions.

  40. Astral'o Pithecus February 14, 2019 at 4:40 pm

That's incredibly expensive!!! A gimbal costs just a little more…

  41. Ben There Media February 14, 2019 at 4:59 pm

Since it's magnetic, does it work in an underslung mode? Or can you only operate it in the UP-right position?

  42. JimmySmith February 14, 2019 at 7:35 pm

This gimbal doesn’t look special to me at all.

  43. Spach February 14, 2019 at 8:50 pm

I like it But it's so large!

  44. Simple Woodworking February 14, 2019 at 10:28 pm

I’m nit even interested in the content of this video, but I just like the enrgy and how entertaining you make your videos!

  45. Taavi Kaisen February 15, 2019 at 4:24 am

You get vibration on a gimbal if you don't match how hard motors work and your camera weight correctly, for example if you have a lightweight camera but motors on heavy or if you maybe have a camera in medium weight category while you have motor set to heavy. I used black magic 2,5k on zhiyun crane 2 and that camera is pretty heavy but you still need to keep motors on your gimbal on medium level in order to not get vibrations

  46. Rubin lopez February 15, 2019 at 5:42 am

u can buy a crane v2 or v1 depending om the seller for the early bird price of 250usd lol. u should've named the video "Gimbal killer" lol! sike

  47. AV February 15, 2019 at 6:04 am

Potatoe Jet seems to be pretty honest with his viewers. Not too common these days. Manufacturers tend to "buy" reviews nowadays.

    I hope you never change.

    #HTown

    Definitely appreciated.

  48. Lisa's Life February 15, 2019 at 10:00 am

Crazy question…but if I buy one I need to know. Is the magnet strong enough to interrupt a pacemaker? Just asking?

  49. Ultimvtum - Jordan Kost February 15, 2019 at 10:22 am

This is sick, esp with how it's 3D printed ?

  50. Joo.Works February 15, 2019 at 11:51 am

How about a REVIEW OF A REAL POTATO someday? It's so much fun to watch you review stuff. "Potato vs RED" -video would nice.

  51. Primoz Padar February 15, 2019 at 1:03 pm

I think you should buy original glidecam instead of this cheap one… It's sooooo much better and even easier to use!

  52. Sgtbrobee February 15, 2019 at 5:40 pm

You know what else is powered by magnets? Electric motors.

  53. Max Hoffer February 15, 2019 at 10:36 pm

Couldn't the magnet somehow displace the DSLR mirror?

  54. Canyon Duncan February 16, 2019 at 1:20 am

    I don't like it…

  55. Joey Wong February 16, 2019 at 2:18 am

    why the slow mo….

  58. Ana Al Ariss / أنا العريس February 16, 2019 at 4:58 am

hey man i love your video review but when you show us how much this thing can stay stable ( dont slow mo) the footage we need to see it as it is , RAW.

  60. penguin6887 February 16, 2019 at 7:38 am

  61. Sudhanshu Kumar Mahto February 16, 2019 at 7:51 am

    I love your working style!

  62. Andreas Holm February 16, 2019 at 9:22 am

What is the glidecam you show called?

  63. Sam Bennett February 16, 2019 at 10:20 am

I would highly recommend anybody interested in camera movement like this (Steadicam, Glidecam, Gimbal, Magnetic stabilisers) to get your hands on “The Steadicam Operators Handbook” the book is a wealth of knowledge on Steadicam of course but goes deep into some really great ways to move a camera. It was written before the gimbal revolution but I think it is potentially even more relevant today than ever.

  64. Steve Delos Reyes February 16, 2019 at 12:47 pm

Here they are making magnetic gimbals and I haven't still seen the common gimbal in real life hahaha

  65. RAX February 16, 2019 at 9:48 pm

    Thats the meaning of shit

  66. Shtrih55 February 16, 2019 at 10:20 pm

So there are 10 seconds of actual footage and the rest is you talking on the camera? Youtube is getting worse and worse

  67. LOMBOK FILMS February 17, 2019 at 2:04 am

    AMAZNG broo….

  68. Jamie Pirie February 17, 2019 at 10:07 am

    thanks for the review Sidney

  69. ZeroG84 February 17, 2019 at 2:54 pm

3D Printed plastic = not for cold weather. Also, version 2.0 should really look in to that folding thing. There is no bag on this earth you would wanna carry that in with you.

  70. madmax 1987 February 17, 2019 at 3:32 pm

I always enjoy watching your videos thank you mate,,?

  71. Thomas Campos February 17, 2019 at 6:29 pm

Looks very wobbly. I’ll stick with the Ronin S.

  72. Jay Freeman February 17, 2019 at 6:35 pm

    Ummmm ….nah

  73. Armando Prieto February 17, 2019 at 7:05 pm

  75. Lion Head February 17, 2019 at 7:49 pm

I just Got A AD for it before i could watch the vid

  76. TechEdd_YT February 17, 2019 at 9:48 pm

    – IT's not so expensive…

    300USD??!?!?!?!?!

  77. davi eshu February 18, 2019 at 5:19 am

    Lacks invert mode

  78. Javen February 18, 2019 at 5:45 am

    Cough cough glidecam cough cough

  79. Terry King February 18, 2019 at 6:43 am

So no real control of tilt or pan? At least on a motorised gimbal or a sled you can control that… feel like I'd want that. Also curious to know if the rig can be inverted for a low mode?

  80. Maroc Photograph February 18, 2019 at 2:14 pm

    Best gimbal ever
    https://youtu.be/huFIpowvIno

  81. EFS Production ZOPA channel February 18, 2019 at 2:34 pm

    WTF the best gimbal ever

  82. AyBee February 18, 2019 at 5:13 pm

My last film was shot during windy days. No Chance with my steadycam. I bet this magnetic Version wont work in windy conditions, too. I will stay with my Moza Air 2 for sure.

  83. EuroBox Portugal - Lucas al Jalali February 18, 2019 at 6:31 pm

Could be magnetic to put the camera in and out of it ?

  84. zero00tolerance February 19, 2019 at 6:04 am

Yaaa, no no no .. if this thing were made 3 years ago it would be a big hit, no doubt. Not in 2019 gimbals are just too efficient and easy to use.

  85. Stanley's Stuff February 19, 2019 at 6:24 pm

Okay. That's funny, I got an advertisement for the stabilizer before watching this video.
    YouTube knows too much

  86. Jorge Martinez February 19, 2019 at 7:49 pm

why oh why do you suggest warp stabilizer? If this thing isn't smooth it's not worth it.

  87. Tony Li February 19, 2019 at 10:36 pm

    Cool

  88. Luis Torres February 19, 2019 at 10:56 pm

I was going to watch this but I remember that you sold out to Canon lol.

  89. Ryan Graff February 20, 2019 at 2:17 am

Is Encino/Sherman Oaks your hood or just visiting?

  90. Prémium Paris February 20, 2019 at 7:34 am

    That’s really cool !!

  91. Green Drop Media February 26, 2019 at 3:35 pm

Oh hells yeah!! Thats pretty sick! ANd you were at the Galleria! we are neighbors. I'll be sure to fangirl over you if i ever run into you. Great channel!

  92. kyle hamilton February 27, 2019 at 5:05 pm

what kind of manual steadicam was that at the beggining

  93. Ben Kolbie March 1, 2019 at 2:34 pm

2 question is it better than a dji ronin for filming weddings…what would you say

  94. Media Buster March 1, 2019 at 4:56 pm

Man, you "feel like" a lot…

  95. Love Jesus March 2, 2019 at 5:38 pm

Terrible review when you show slow motion footage. Never show slow motion footage when you are testing a camera stabilizer.

  96. Kong Lor March 11, 2019 at 3:03 am

I like it, but the price is up there.

  97. Butterfly Vision March 29, 2019 at 4:32 pm

Seems great for when you want a genuine hand held look with a small camera setup but don't want the jitter, so I kinda like that it's not as smooth as a gimbal.

  98. John Fahlstrom April 26, 2019 at 6:03 pm

Dude. The affiliate link sez out of stock. …how can a pre order be out of stock? ???? Inquiring minds want to know.

  99. Psycho Asian July 7, 2019 at 5:13 pm

How about glidecam and steadicams ……….. Are they any good…….???

  100. PG Tips November 4, 2019 at 9:49 am

Slow motion footage is absolutely hopeless for reviewing any type of gimbal setup! Surely you should know this right? Tell me I don't need to explain why.
