Lifehack: create VHS effect with VSDC Free Video Editor. Variant 1


Add your video Right click the video and select ‘Duplicate’ In ‘Poperties window’ on the right click ‘Set the same size as the parent has’ Enter the video object double clicking it on the timeline Add a rectangle from shapes available on the left Select one without an outline In ‘Properties window’ – ‘Brush’ – ‘Color’ click the advanced settings button to open the palette Select red Again apply ‘Set the same size as the parent has’ Click ‘Blend’ and select ‘Darken’ Exit the second video clicking to the scene tab Click ‘Blend’ next to the second video and select ‘Lighten’ Duplicate the second video Apply ‘Set the same size as the parent has’ Enter the third video Click the rectangle and in ‘Properties window’ – ‘Brush’ – ‘Color’ click the advanced settings button to open the palette Choose blue Exit the third video Click the first video Open the tools panel above and set the Opacity level as 52% Enter the first video Open ‘Video effects’ and select ‘Filters’ – ‘Gaussian blur’ Set ‘Blur levels’ as 100 Open ‘Video effects’ and select ‘Filters’ – ‘Noise’ Its levels can be 100 or a bit less On the scene shift your second video to the LEFT (5 or 8 pixeles) On the scene shift your third video to the RIGHT (5 or 8 pixeles) You can vary this shift range depending on your needs

    Could you please help me with a problem?
    The black screen in the middle that you see just after opening a VSDC project, talking about 0.11 here, this screen has become very small in my projects.
    How do I get is as large as shown in this video?

    this is just one of several aspect of the VHS lo-fi effect….tracking, grain, tape destruction…then you also have to factor in the audio.

    Hi, Thank you for this brilliant tutorial.ı got a problem i guess can you help me ?
    The problem is = When i do all the things in tutorial movies frame rate drops 60fps to 4.3 fps . My specs are = 8 gb of ram and 2 Gb of VRAM NVIDA 840m. Do we have a solution for this ?
