turning focus ring whilst AF is on ??? Seriously great content as usual Jordy
thanks jordy .. can u tell me which type of lens your using?
Thanks Jordy – Great Tips!
nice video, thanks!
Hi Jordy. Watching great channels like yours, have inspired me to bring my cooking show to the next level. The result – this short film:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_zAYXV2bXIMy question is how to add multiple language subtitles to it. Should I use one video or make as many copies as the number of languages I want to translate it to.I don't wont to use Youtube subtitles, because you can't choose the font and style there, as I understand.Do you have suggestions for this or maybe even a video tutorial? Thanks.
Stop motion video
Thanks for this. Focus – particularly while you or your subject are moving – is one of my biggest worries (being new to DSLR video). I'll definately be trying these tips out. Can I ask, what is your opinion of the various 'follow focus' accessories that are available – are they worth the money?
Handheld filming with DSLR often results in jittery or wobbly footage, especially when walking around. Do you have any tips for stabilizing your DSLR footage without having to buy or build stuff like shoulder rigs or steadicams?
Brilliant! Thanks for sharing your experiences and tips, great stuff 🙂
what type of lens that you mostly use
There's actually a way… It's called AfterEffects and loads of plug-ins 😀 lol
thanks you so much !!! all my videos looks a way more professional now !!
you are the best! thanks
Aperture and focal length play a large role in focusing too.
what about rip cameras plz help nobody does focus for flip cameras
0:09 De only solution is to have the amazing accent
Can you teach me how we focus an object when it's alway moving, ex: wedding party … sorry for my bad English !
Tip 1 is good but useless with these aweful focus-by-wire lenses! 🙁 No muscle memory….
Wow. Fantastic! Wish more tip videos were like this!
does lowering aperture help?
Great tips! And I think your woman is really cute. You make a good couple.
Love your content man. Great channel, keep it up.
ON MY BIRTHDAY! Amazing video
have questions as a beginner….using a Canon t6i:
1. if my lens is set to autofocus, will it damage anything to manually turn the ring and manually focus?
2. I've heard people say that you should turn the camera off before making changes like: switcing the autofocus/ manual button, or stabilizer button.
what if we use AF while tracking subject…??
hello jordy and cinecom …this is soumya. I've been following your channel and that has educated me about the technical skills very well. thanks for that. the reason I'm dropping this comment is, I wanted to know if canon 700d with magic lantern software and Carl Zeiss lens kits can give the screening quality. I've been passionate towards cinematography and have tried shooting couple of short films and that has got a decent output. but this time it's time for us to screen so I wanted to make sure about the video quality. pls suggest.thank u
Hi, how to get 2 person in focus while shooting video
I'm a noob what is the aperture do ?
thanks, this was really helpful!
F*ck, these tips are so useful it hurts.
Tip n.1 skip to n.2
Teach your subject about focus point and length etc etc and ask them to remain inside focus. Like a boss just hold your camera. :p All the big camera man do it. ( its a secret 😉 )
+because i have a same Tamron lens
I didn't got 2nd
Thank you for this!
the name and the version camera plz >> what is that camera
what d apeture you are using?
Great tips! The only thing that I would say it that not all lenses turn the same way, so when walking, as you said, you just have to know your lens and which way to turn to adjust the focus. Also, your tip about the tape is great, but again, it depends on people knowing their lenses. Focus by wire lenses, like with Sony, will not benefit from this. Anyway, great videos!
Thanks so much!!
Or just buy sony lens …. Sony lens have amazing C AF
the fourth method is amazing tip
Ive learned so much more about my camera after I got interested in videography. This was yesterday. Shit is making sense now and it feels good to feel like I have a little more control over my camera instead of just winging it and adjusting later.
Lesse kan in Arabies vertaal word
It's really a good tutorial. Is possible for you to make tutorial on different types of camera lences? Thanks…
These tips are really helpful, thank you!
Tip 1 – Achieving Focus without looking at the screen/monitor…….no, this is simply not possible and you will be out of focus more often than not.
Love your contents……you're an editing god….
I'm from Iraq and I love you so much
this helped me! Thanks alot.
Nice tip with the tape
actully focus object far away is not accurate, dead wrong
Please speak slower while you are learning English.
This would have been epic if he said tip 1 ah ah ah ah. Tip 2 ah ah ah ah and lightning and thunder sounds.
